Next Steps

Meet Jesus

Trusting Jesus as your Savior is most important decision you’ll ever make. The Bible teaches that Jesus came to earth and lived as a man without sin. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin, the sin that separated us from God. Two verses show us the great truth of how we can know Jesus.

God loved the world in this way, He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. – Romans 10:13

When we admit our sin and turn from it, and commit our lives to follow Jesus, the Bible tells us we can have new life. If you’re looking for hope and peace, Jesus is the answer. If you’d like to talk with someone about Jesus, contact us at (770) 382-1977.

There are four ways to join Tabernacle Baptist Church:

    • Statement
    • Transfer of letter from another church
    • Salvation
    • Baptism

Baptism

We believe that the Bible teaches baptism by immersion after salvation. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

If you would like to speak with someone about scheduling a baptism, call Kay Atkins at the church office at (770) 382-1977.
