What is KidVenture?
KidVenture is Tabernacle’s new and exciting way to do VBS outside the walls of the church! We want to go OUT into the community to CONNECT KIDS TO CHRIST! KidVenture Camps will occur in parks and neighborhoods around Cartersville on June 2-5.
During KidVenture, kids will learn Biblical truths while singing, playing games, doing science experiments, enjoying snacks, and participating in Bible learning activities.
Kids will be placed into smaller groups based on age and led by a guide (an adult volunteer). The guide will escort kids to the various activity stations during KidVenture.

How old does my child have to be to attend?
KidVenture is for kids PreK through 5th grade!
Does KidVenture cost anything?
KidVenture is FREE!
Who are the guides and volunteers?
All volunteers are actively involved in Tabernacle Baptist Church and have completed a background check, child safety training, and KidVenture training!
What about snacks and water?
We got you covered! We will provide plenty of water and snacks! (Cheez-Its, Veggie Straws, and Oreos)
My child has a medical condition. How do I provide special instructions?
On the registration form, please write down and special needs and instructions. We will have a nurse at each site for First Aid.
My child requires sunscreen, will someone be able to help them?
Please apply sunscreen prior to arriving. We can help reapply if needed.
If there is bad weather, will I need to come pick up my child?
In the event of inclement weather, we will notify you via text/email if an event is cancelled. If weather occurs during the event, we will move children to a covered, safe location until parents arrive.
I missed online registration; can my child still attend?
Of course! Children can register at any location, on any day as a walk up. Missed Monday? That’s ok, come join us for the rest of the week!

May I stay with my child during the event?
Parents are welcome to stay on site and watch KidVenture from the bleachers or sidelines. For the safety of all children, only volunteers who have completed background checks and child safety training may be helpers during the camp.
