Worship

“Our worship choir is a non-auditioned group and is open to anyone 6th grade and above. Due to the difficulty level of much of our instrumental music, Orchestra members are typically 9th graders and above. Please reach out to jmauldin@tabernaclebaptist.org if you are interested in participating in either of these groups.”

Smaller worship leading groups are used on an as-needed basis. These groups are by audition and all members of small groups are actively involved in Worship Choir or Orchestra. 

"The Gathering Place Worship Team leads each Sunday during the B hour at 10:45am in our new multipurpose facility. Music is live and preaching is streamed in from the Worship Center. This team is a smaller group made up of a rhythm section and a few vocalists that commits to practice on Wednesday nights. "We have a unique situation at Tabernacle in that we take an inter-generational approach to our worship services. Students in 6th grade and above sing in our Worship Choir and 9th grade and above play in our Worship Orchestra each week… and we love it! We also offer a Student Choir! They meet during our Worship Choir rehearsal, separately for a portion of the practice before joining with the adults to practice together. Students can also join the Student band, which leads worship during The Gathering on Wednesday nights for our student ministry. Kids and Preschoolers have worship incorporated into their weekly gatherings. They also have special opportunities through the year to lead worship, specifically during Christmas and Easter.
