Worship is about God, glorifying Him and looking to Jesus our Savior! As Christians, we look for his return every day and live in light of that eager expectation. If we’ll do that, it will help us to lead holy lives but will also give us urgency to get the gospel out. Thank you, Bryan Ewchuk, Choir and orchestra, for reminding us of that so well this past Sunday in song. Keep your minds fixed on things above, not on the temporary, but on the eternal. Here are a few reminders and announcements:
- NO CHOIR REHEARSALS for the month of July. Enjoy the down time. Rest and relax. Use your apps to stay fresh on your music for each Sunday.
- Don’t forget, we will go and bless the folks at Manor Lake on July 16 at 6pm. Even if you didn’t sign up, plan to meet us there to help out! Orchestra members are also welcome to come and sing on this one! We’ll bring the music folders. More details coming soon.
- Have you invited a friend yet to our kick-off event, August 6 @ 6:45pm? Why not send a text or FB message right now to begin “working” on somebody?!
- Worship Teams: don’t forget to let Ms. Ashlee know which workshop you intend to participate in. You don’t have to be at both, but we’d like to know how many to expect at each. Those are Sunday, July 20 at 2pm or Wednesday July 30 at 6:30pm, held in the worship center.
- SUNDAY, I’m looking forward to you singing “I Am Not Ashamed” as we celebrate North American Missions and our partnerships. We’ll have TBC Espanol and Korea joining and contributing to our services as well.
