Choir and Orchestra!
What an incredible weekend! I'm still joyfully reflecting on the details of all that you did so well. Kudos to all of our soloists, who sang beautifully. Instrumentalists, you were in the pocket! And choir, your harmonies and message came through so clearly. I believe you were a blessing to our community and Christ was magnified!
Also, Meredith and I thank you all for the generous Christmas gift you presented to us before Sunday night's service. God bless you for your kindness, your dedication and willingness to serve. We are so blessed to serve alongside such loving saints.
Remember, no rehearsals until January 14th. Enjoy a little downtime. We will continue to sing on Sunday's though, so keep an eye out for the newsletter and other communications!
This Sunday, we will sing “Manger Throne” in both A & B hour services. Just come to the choir loft at your usual time, 8:45am for the early service and 10:30am for the later service. This will be a Lord’s Supper day as well.
We’ll start the habit of meeting in the choir room in the new year! Enjoy your leisurely Sunday mornings until then! 😊
Also, between now and next Wednesday, take some time to do a little work on “O Holy Night” that we will sing on Christmas Eve.
Thank you all once again for how you serve with excellence and dedication. Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Sincerely,
Joseph
